Novice LL Rangers Update
The Rangers continued building momentum with two victories this past weekend.
On Saturday the Rangers came out hard against a scrappy Thamesford team. Once again Blake made some big saves, and our offence kicked it into gear and buried seven in the Thamesford net. Final score was 7-3 Belmont.
On Sunday the Rangers travelled to Aylmer to take on the Flames. The Rangers came out flat and the Flames went up a couple goals. Belmont finally came to life, started a comeback with a timely power play goal, and never looked back. Final score was 5-3 Belmont.
The coaches were very impressed with the "never quit" attitude displayed by the players on Sunday. Their hard charge for the comeback victory was exciting to say the least.
Big congratulations to Sean and Grayson, both of whom scored their first goals, and honourable mention to Brett who scored five times over the weekend.
Next up: the Port Stanley Junior Sailors Saturday at 11:00am in Belmont. Please bring in your $43 Embro tournament fee if you haven't already done so.

Finally, we have a practice Sunday at 6:00 when we will continue working on the basic skating/shooting/passing skills and also hope to mix in some team tactics for puck pursuit and defending.
