Novice LL Rangers Update
After a short Christmas break, the Rangers returned to the ice this past weekend to prepare for the second half of the season.
At the beginning of the year, the coaching staff set out to accomplish three goals for the team:
1. Have fun;
2. Work hard;
3. Steady improvement as players and as a team.
The players have demonstrated outstanding work ethic during practice and games--I don't think there's a harder working team in the league--and their improvement individually and as a team has been a pleasure to see. We hope the kids are having lots of fun while they learn and play.
The second half of the season marks a more challenging part of our game schedule. There are five regular season games left against formidable opponents, followed by playoffs and the Embro tournament on February 14. If we continue to work as hard as we can and remember to play together as a team (remember all of the passing we worked on in practice and to clear the puck out from in front of Blake, Rangers!!!!) it should be a very exciting and successful second half.
See you Saturday at 11:00 in Belmont when we play the Dorchester Dragons, and see you again Sunday morning at 10 in Ingersoll.
