QR CODE in effect Jan 4
Submitted By Mallory Hesselmans on Friday, December 24, 2021
Effective January 4th, 2022, Ontario will require the use QR codes and the Verify Ontario app in settings where proof of vaccination is required. The QR code can be used digitally or by printing a paper copy. Ontario has announced changes to the proof of vaccination system after a "sudden escalation" of Omicron cases and data suggesting it will be the dominant strain by January. TO ENTER THE ARENA, THE QR CODE AS PROOF OF VACCINATION AS OF JANUARY 4th, 2022 WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED AND ALL QR CODES WILL BE SCANNED AT THE ENTRANCE.
