The Belmont Minor Hockey Association (BMHA) Executive would like to thank all of the members who participated in the Amalgamation Vote yesterday.
The vote was held last night at the Belmont Arena from 5pm – 9pm.
In total BMHA 75 votes were cast, with 66 votes (88%) in favour of amalgamation with Aylmer Minor Hockey (AMHA) and 9 votes against Amalgamation. AMHA received 96 votes, with 79 (82.3%) being in favour of amalgamation, 17 against.
Both the BMHA and AMHA will continue for the remainder of the season to operate as East Elgin Minor Hockey. The EEMHA Bylaws and policies are posted on both the AMHA and BMHA websites.
