U7 - Teams 3 & 4 (Belmont Minor Hockey)

We’re excited to offer BMHA and Belmont EEMHA players opportunities for extra development this winter - Monday Night Skills Sessions.  These skills sessions and skates will be run by two different hockey schools including Battle Hockey and LVLUP Hockey.

The Elgin Thames 73s’ need your help on our Logo and Colour Scheme!! Please send in your logo and colour scheme ideas for the newly created Elgin Thames 73’s to the following email address [email protected]. Be sure to include your Logo design, colour Scheme and contact info along with your submission. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. 

We’ve recently received questions from some members about suspicious emails asking you to purchase gift cards and keep the transaction confidential as it is a "surprise." Please be aware that no member of the BMHA executive is sending these messages. These emails are part of a tactic known as “spear-phishing” or “social engineering” designed to trick you into sending money. Do not reply to these messages or engage with the sender. The best response is to delete the email immediately. Here are some tips to protect yourself from these types of frauds:

Thank you to all of those who voted in the final round of the naming contest for Elgin Thames Minor Hockey.  The finalists were the : 73's & Ice Hawks 753 official votes were cast, and the winner with 66% (494) of the votes was.... druuuuummmm roll please THE ELGIN THAMES 73's  Get your team logo and colour submissions ready and watch the AMHA, BMHA and DMHA websites for requirements and deadlines. 

Thank you to everyone who cast their votes. We had two names that came to the top and were separated by less than 1% (6 votes out of more than 500 votes cast). Additionally, the bottom four names made up a total of 55% of the total votes.  With this in mind, we have had discussions and feel that we would like to do another vote with only the top two options, so that we make sure our new name represents a majority of our new membership.
