Act 1 Scene 2....Parkhill
Did I bang my head?  Did I sip too many times out of the glass skate?  Deja Vu, I've seen this movie before.  After spending numerous hours at the North Middlesex Community Center over the Christmas break, it was only fitting we jump back into the Shamrock schedule where else? Parkhill.

We practiced in the morning and one of the boys said "Do we play in Parkhill today?" Another one replied " Yes, The Silver Stick Arena." Another said "against who?" The boys were singing "Ooo and it's alright and it's comin' 'long We got to get right back to where we started from, hockey is good, hockey can be strong, We got to get right back to where we started from." As you can imagine at the end of a busy Christmas break, Silver Stick Tournament, playing on the pond, sledding at the hill and many late night sleep overs and a 9:00am pre-game skate the coaching staff didn't expect too much going into Saturday's tilt. All the excitement was gone from the last time we sat in that arena anxiously awaiting our fate last Sunday. The game got off to a sluggish start for the boys in blue, once again exactly what the Dr. ordered. Parkhill came out flying trying to take down the Silver Stick Champs from Belmont. Holden Clark opened the scoring on a breakaway deke sliding it five hole. Seth VanBommel put the Rangers up by two as he roofed a rebound under the bar. Parkhill wouldn't go away quietly as they countered with one of their own to end the period 2-1 Belmont. Dylan Watson was facing his cousin who was between the pipes for the home side and before the siblings could get another gumball out of the machine, Dylan beat cousin Marcus to put the visitors up by two. Clark scored another off his skate on a shot by Jackson Groves. Once again in the last minute of the 2nd period Parkhill scored to close the gap to 4-2. Noah Vandenbrink recorded his first of 3 in the 3rd on a nice passing play from Josh Beattie and Ben Melady. Noah added his 2nd on a hippy, hippy shake deke of the goalie and his 3rd came on an attempted wrap around pass to Ben in the slot. (They don't ask how, only how many). Holden tried a hippy, hippy shake of his own and the goalie got his left pad out, only to have hungry Ben Weesjes waiting to pounce on the rebound and finalize the score and victory at 8-2. The strong D of Cal,Logan,Noah and Mason made many nice passes and defensive plays to help William keep the crease clear. The Hard Hat mysteriously re-appeared with only a few shavings of saw dust and a Bud Light beer cap fell out just in time for the relentless Seth VanBommel to take it home!!

Happy Birthday too: Jackson,Holden,Noah,Logan,Seth and his brother Brett along with Cal's bro' Jack!
